‘Higher Self’

The Creative Process:
I began this piece without a clear direction, starting with bold black lines in acrylic paint, letting them flow freely and take on their own life. Slowly, a patterned form began to emerge, but there came a moment, as it always does in my work, when I found myself stuck—unsure of where to take it next.

Then, one day, I saw someone with a Nefertiti tattoo, and in that instant, everything clicked. I knew exactly what needed to happen. The painting took a new turn, guided by that fleeting encounter, and I could feel the piece begin to come together. In that moment of unexpected inspiration, I understood: the process of creating isn’t always about control, but about embracing the unknown and trusting that something will emerge. And so, what was once uncertain found its direction, I named it:

Higher Self

She speaks constantly, softly but persistently, waiting for us to listen—to respond with awareness, to move in harmony with the current of our highest good. It is through this quiet dialogue that true growth unfolds, guiding us toward the next step in our creative journey.
